Second Lineup Annoucement

Center of the Universe Festival “More bands and more parties”

The festival office smells like victory today. We just added more bands and more parties and more mayhem. The only thing we have not done is add new dates – those are still Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Tulsa’s Brady Arts District.

[Here is where we would add a drum roll if we could]

Opening our Saturday night’s Main stage, Minus the Bear, followed by Kongos and headliner Three Days Grace who were both announced earlier this year. Seattle’s Minus the Bear have played just about every major festival – Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Sasquatch! – if you have not heard of those festivals, you should start asking yourself some serious life questions.

The Friday night Main Stage bands previously announced: American Authors followed by MisterWives with Panic! At the Disco as the headliner.

[More drum rolling]

We are also excited to announce the Main Stage After Party, presented by Subkulture on Friday night, which will feature Tycho beginning at 11:45 p.m. The Saturday night After Party artist will be announced in the not-so-distant future.

[Okay, enough with the drum rolls. Geez!]

And we are way, WAY excited (we have had a lot of Red Bull the last few days) to let you know 7/8th of the lineup for the Bank of Oklahoma Stage at Guthrie Green: Friday night – Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.Milo Greene and Big Sam’s Funky Nation Saturday night – CHAPPORoxy RocaMother Motherand Bear Hands.

“We are thrilled to release our second lineup announcement”, said Chris Lieberman with not even a hint of a yawn, “With 13 stages at the 2015 Center of the Universe Festival, our fans will get to choose from a minimum of five bands at any given time during the festival. Now, even with 98 bands remaining to be announced, fans can begin to see the wide range of musical genres that will be represented this year.”

More artists remain to be announced for the 2015 festival including the following:

  • Saturday night After Party artist
  • One additional Bank of Oklahoma Stage at Guthrie Green artist
  • Eight artists for the Oklahoma Showcase Stage, presented by the Hardesty Family Foundation
  • 88 artists who will play at the 10 Club Venue stages in the Brady Art’s District

In total, 112 live bands are scheduled to play over the course of the festival.
