Center of the Universe Festival taking one year to plan and rally community support.

Today, we come to you with an important announcement regarding the Center of the Universe Festival plans for 2016 and 2017. First of all, we want to say a big thank you to our fans for all your support. Tulsa’s passion for our thriving arts and entertainment community is what inspires us most.

The Center of the Universe Festival is taking the next year to rally community support and thoughtfully evaluate a plan for a future event in 2017. The Festival began three years ago with a vision to create a music festival that would support and grow Tulsa’s Brady Arts District. As a byproduct of achieving this initial goal, the festival has outgrown the space and hopes to return in 2017 to a new venue with top notch talent and an exceptional event for Tulsa.

Our goal is to provide Tulsa with the most outstanding music and arts experience, and in order to do so, we need to work together as a community to attract the right artists that will excite and unite Tulsans. We feel this planning period is important because we don’t want to compromise our dreams, our lineup or the experience for attendees. The key to creating a superlative music festival for Tulsa is the perfect balance between talent, ticket sales and community support.

We remain committed to growing and supporting Tulsa’s thriving arts and entertainment scene. It’s important that we rally community support to continue growing the festival and to ensure a high caliber festival experience in Tulsa. YOU are one of our best ambassadors and this event is not possible without you!
